From ready-to-print 3D models, STEAM design challenges, and virtual STEM kits, to lesson plans for the MyBot robots and Labdisc portable sensors, MyStemKits has everything you need to get started using your MimioSTEM products right away.
Students will experience real-world, hands-on learning that promotes deep conceptual understanding so you have everything you need to prepare the next generation of engineers, mathematicians, and scientists for the challenges they’ll face.
A subscription to our platform allows users to stream 3D models directly to their local 3D printers and download and use curriculum that goes along with it. Users can also find and download lesson plans that work with robots, sensors, and virtual STEM kits, so no 3D printer is necessary.
In addition to being the world's largest library of 3D printable kits and curriculum designed specifically for K-12 STEM education, our curriculum is researched-based and aligned to NGSS and Common Core standards to create the biggest impact in the classroom with the least work required on your part.
Moreover, we focus on truly interdisciplinary education and nurturing the skills necessary for success in the 21st century such as creativity, problem-solving, critical-thinking, and teamwork.
MyStemKits offers hundreds of standards-driven lesson plans for grades K-12 math and science teachers. These high-quality lessons plans are developed and studied by The Florida Center for Research in Science. Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (FCR-STEM), which is part of one of the nation's oldest and most productive university-based education research organizations.
With a focus on preparing students for the challenges of an ever-changing world, these professionals develop cross-curricular lesson plans that tackle real-world challenges to force the students to pursue deep thinking. Great for both classrooms and informal learning environments!
In addition to a large collection of supplemental materials, we also have a few curriculum units. These comprehensive units are designed to be textbook replacements for the following grades and subjects.
Throughout the website, you'll find kits and lesson plans have been color-coded so you can more-easily find those relevant to you.
MyStemKits.com provides hundreds of 3D-printable manipulatives designed specifically around the needs of a classroom. Rather than ordering supplies, you simply 3D print them yourself using your own 3D printer and our one-click printing platform.
All of the MyStemKits models have been thoroughly tested across a variety of 3D printers so they will print and work consistently every time.
All print settings are pre-optimized for each printer so it's a simple one-click printing process. That way, you can focus on your students.

Using 3D printers to help teach STEM subjects in engaging and effective ways is just the beginning. MyStemKits also offers a comprehensive series of Design Challenges which teach students design thinking, problem solving, and even 3D modeling so that they can develop the skills and tools necessary for success in the 21st century.
MyStemKits provides Basic, Intermediate, and Advanced design challenges at every grade level 3-12* so that whatever age students may be when they take on 3D modeling, they'll be able to have the tools and challenges necessary to guide their journey.
*Some activities may be done at lower grades, but will require more supervision and/or assistance with reading.

In each Design Challenge, students are recruited by an individual who needs their help, whether it's aerospace engineer Sofia who needs models of space station modules or film director Marc who needs to recreate a lost file, students will be challenged to create and customize files according to specific needs.
Moreover, each activity integrates math and science concepts such as measuring, geometry, and precision. Additionally, the finished products can be used to supplement grade-appropriate math and science activities.
